Dryft Wellesley is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team in a high-volume environment, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in execution. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage a team, control food costs, and maintain the highest standards of kitchen operations. The Chef de Cuisine will work closely with our Executive Chef, who oversees menu creation and dish development, bringing these concepts to life with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparation and presentation.

Lead, train, and develop a team in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Work alongside the Executive Chef to execute dishes that align with Dryft Wellesley’s culinary vision.

Manage food costs, maintain inventory control, and implement strategies to optimize profitability without compromising quality.

Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Foster a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Monitor kitchen financial performance, analyzing costs and implementing efficiencies as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Head Chef, or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop staff.

Expertise in cost control and inventory management to maintain profitability.

Ability to execute menu concepts as designed by the Executive Chef while maintaining consistency.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.

Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
