Come join our team! We are an award-winning artisan bakery specializing in hearth baked breads, sourdoughs, using whole grains, hand shaped croissants & pastries, and seasonal desserts. All of our products are made fresh daily from scratch ingredients. We source locally and regionally whenever possible. We also offer espresso and sandwiches in our café and run a wholesale program providing breads and pastries to area restaurants and shops.
We are looking for a full-time employee to help execute from-scratch food prep, as well work our sandwich line at breakfast/lunch under the kitchen manager. Restaurant, cafe or bakery experience required. We are happy to train on any further skills needed in the job. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours
Details:
Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
Early morning to mid-afternoon hours
Comfort level with knives and standard appliances (oven, sandwich press, induction burners, bread slicer, meat slicer).
Ability to take direction, follow recipes, prep lists
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Desire to go the extra mile it takes to process all the beautiful abundance of food we get from local farms
Looking for a team player who understands what it is to work in a kitchen/food service environment.
We are a small business and would really like to find someone who is willing to help in all areas in a pinch situation whether it’s doing dishes, covering shifts, or making the most of a surprise surplus of local produce that needs to be processed quickly and stocked for future use!
Job Types: Full-time or Part-time (no less than four shifts for part-time)
