Senior Manager, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)

The Senior Manager, HEOR will play a leading role in developing and executing U.S.-focused health economics and outcomes research strategies, while also providing strategic support for global HEOR activities across key regions such as the EU and Japan. This role will focus on current portfolio and early/ late-stage assets to support market access, pricing, and reimbursement through the generation of high-quality economic evidence and real-world data.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the U.S. payer landscape and evidence expectations (CMS, ICER, commercial payers), combined with experience or familiarity with international HTA processes and reimbursement frameworks (e.g., NICE, G-BA, MHLW).NOTE: Candidates must be available to work onsite with a hybrid schedule (Currently minimum of 3 days in office and 2 days remote).Key Responsibilities:U.S. Strategy and Execution (Primary Focus):Lead U.S. HEOR strategy to support access, reimbursement, and pricing decisions across the product lifecycle.Evaluate early-stage pipeline assets to inform U.S. commercial potential, pricing thresholds, and evidence requirements.Design and oversee U.S.-specific economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness, budget impact) and real-world evidence (RWE) studies (claims, EMR, registries).Develop and maintain U.S. AMCP dossiers, ICER submission materials, and payer value communication tools.Provide insights on U.S. reimbursement pathways (e.g., Medicare Part B vs. D, buy-and-bill, coding, coverage) and support value-based contracting strategies.Global Support (EU, Japan, and Other Priority Markets):Collaborate with global HEOR and affiliate teams to align on evidence generation strategies that meet international HTA requirements (e.g., NICE, HAS, IQWiG, MHLW).Provide input into global health economic models, global value dossiers (GVDs), and clinical trial design to ensure payer-relevant endpoints and data are captured.Contribute to the development of region-specific adaptations of economic models and RWE studies based on local data and assumptions.Support pricing and reimbursement submissions in international markets by aligning U.S. insights with global strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner closely with U.S. Market Access/ Reimbursement, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Business Development, Regulatory, and Commercial to shape integrated access strategies.Coordinate with global and regional HEOR counterparts to ensure consistency of value messaging and evidence planning.Manage external vendors, academic collaborators, and consultants to ensure timely and high-quality execution of projects.Communication and Dissemination:Present HEOR data at internal forums, scientific congresses (e.g., ISPOR, AMCP), and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.Translate technical findings into impactful insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders and external decision-makers.
