Piper Companies is currently seeking an Application Engineer who can become deeply involved in exposing gesture enabled technologies to external stakeholders. The Application Engineer should expect 50% of their time to be interfacing externally with customers.
Responsibilities for the Application Engineer:- Provide feedback from external stakeholder back to the Product and Engineering leadership team to ensure software tools are delivering the best of breed technologies to enhance how humans interface with gesture control.
- Update external documentation of SDKs and API's developing and demonstrating examples of gesture enable technologies.
- Create a sample project demonstrating the use of SDK.
- Must be able to work with robots, drones, software applications, mobile devices, standard computers, and AR/VR environments.
- Must be able to travel and support business development and product leads at customer events, trade shows and serve as on-site support for development teams.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working as an Application Engineer with Java/Kotlin.
- Salary ranges from $100,000-$120,000 based on years of experience.
