Billing & Coding Specialist

We are looking for a Billing Specialist. This position is responsible for: billing Medicare/Medicaid and other HMOs for patient services, working all coding related edits, collaborate with other billing staff and QA Clinician on coding related issues. Must be able to assign CPT's, ICD10 codes, HCPCS, and/or Modifiers, as needed, providing feedback to other billing staff and/or clinician. Minimum (2+) years' experience in a healthcare organization preferred. Thorough knowledge of ICD-10 coding and related payer regulations. Previous experience with or exposure to medical records, reviewing and auditing Healthcare services billing. Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. Ability to communicate and/or relate effectively, clearly and concisely at all levels. Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Strong computer skills including MS office, Internet and e-mail. Extensive knowledge of Massachusetts and Federal payer requirements. Previous Health Care billing experience a plus. Please, e-mail resume.
