POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional who possesses superb customer service skills. This schedule is 32 hours a week with full benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain records on outgoing payments, initiate all payment types to vendors and resolve differences and/or discrepancies by direct communication with vendors.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts.

Assist, as needed, with monthly closings and periodic audits.

Deposit checks and update spreadsheets.

Process ACH and AP disbursements.

Reconcile company credit cards.

Manage the workers compensation audit.

Handle all employment, workers compensation and PFML verifications.

Process bi-weekly payroll after reviewing reports to ensure all hours have been accurately entered into the system.

Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and various departments within the organization.

Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies between HR and payroll records.

Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

Maintain all payroll records for employees including time and attendance, billing information, and any other documentation for payroll adjustments.

Communicate with employees and managers to clarify & resolve any payroll issues immediately.

Ensure processing of bi-weekly payroll taxes and monthly and/or quarterly state payroll taxes.

Manage the payroll kiosks.

Other various accounts payable tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIRED:

Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite

Must relate confidentially, professionally, and positively with residents, families, and other employees at all levels.

Must be able to work independently.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication/critical thinking skills.

Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

QUALIFICATIONS / PREFERRED:

A minimum of two years of full-time experience

Associate’s degree (or equivalent relevant professional experience)

Experience with Paycom

Payroll Experience a plus
