Accountant - Tax Preparer, Part-Time

We are looking for an experienced income tax preparer/accountant with good QuickBooks knowledge. You must understand how to prepare Profit and Loss statements for small business tax returns. You must be able to interface with clients over the phone, by e-mail, and face to face, to gather and assess information in order to complete personal and small business tax returns. This is a part time position.

This work is mostly seasonal between February 10 through April 15. But additional part-time work will be required between May and October as tax work comes in, and to complete extended tax returns. This job is ideal for a retired or semi-retired individual who has previously worked with income tax preparation and bookkeeping. The work will be done from an office in Methuen, Mass.
