Clinical Education Specialist (RN)

Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Clinical Education Specialist to support an inpatient behavioral health unit at a large hospital system out of Annapolis, MD. This person will promote the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective health care through the provision of expert clinical education and professional development. This person will collaborate with leadership team, clinical education team, and clinical staff in: the planning and implementation of organizational and departmental goals, creating a climate of innovation through role-modeling, consultation, research, and the facilitation of learning. Essential job duties include: Provides professional support to internal and external customers that meet the needs of their diverse age and cultural backgrounds. Acts as a resource for staff members. Demonstrates ability to assess the need for, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality, cost-effective educational programs for staff. Maintain educational records. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates orientation programs for new staff. Assists in development of competencies for clinical staff. Collaborates with other departments/nursing areas to ensure consistency and to avoid duplication. Promotes the advancement of nurses by offering a variety of learning opportunities planned for nurses in different stages of the Novice to Expert continuum.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
