Job Title: Quality SpecialistJob DescriptionThe Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting the Quality Department to ensure all employees understand and follow SOPs. The role will report to the Quality Manager and will assist in the implementation of HACCP, allergen, sanitization, and other programs of the Quality Management System. The position also involves overseeing the completeness and good documentation practices of in-process batch records and reviewing labeling/packaging to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Responsibilities
Support the Quality Department in ensuring all employees understand and follow SOPs.
Assist in the implementation of HACCP, allergen, sanitization, and other programs of the Quality Management System.
Oversee the completeness and good documentation practices of in-process batch records.
Review labeling and packaging to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality assurance, inspections, and audits.
Manage data related to quality processes.
Ensure regulatory compliance in all quality-related activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years in Quality Compliance
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Environmental sanitation programs
Experience with SQF, ISO, GMP, HACCP or similar certifications strongly preferred
Experience training Quality Techs or Quality Inspectors strongly preferred
