Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to become a part of our healthcare team based in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This is a direct-hire position that requires strong familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance.Responsibilities: Medical accounts receivable Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments Maintain a professional rapport with residents and their families, providing clear communication regarding benefits and insurance coverage Utilize knowledge of various insurance payers types including private insurance, hospice, Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care for effective billing and collection Report Medicaid credit balance and have the confidence in billing Medicare Leverage skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Collections, Microsoft Excel, Medicaid Billing, Medicaid, Medicaid Claim, Medicaid Eligibility, Medicare, Medicare Billing, Medicare Claim, and Long Term Care to perform duties effectively and efficieRequirements Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing procedures is mandatory Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required Expertise in Medicaid Billing, Medicaid Claims, and understanding Medicaid Eligibility is crucial Prior experience in working with Medicare, Medicare Billing, and handling Medicare Claims is highly beneficial Knowledge about Long Term Care is required Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare and hospital environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team High level of integrity and confidentiality Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
