Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This role primarily involves handling account reconciliations, making collection calls, taking payments, and posting payments. The workplace setting is onsite and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle account reconciliations to ensure accurate record keeping Make collection calls to customers to facilitate timely payment of invoices Take payments from customers and record them accurately in the system Post payments to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner Use Microsoft Excel to sort and filter data, and manage spreadsheets Utilize SAP for various account receivable tasks Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Maintain accurate customer credit records Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Work collaboratively with the team to prepare for system implementation. Requirements Minimum of three years experience in an Accounts Receivable Specialist role or similar Proficiency in using Accounts Receivable (AR) software Demonstrated experience in Collections - Commercial Familiarity with Cash Applications procedures Proficient in Account Reconciliation Knowledge of SAP software Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
