Working at a senior living community for Sodexo is an opportunity to change the world one patient at a time!Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to join our food service team at Frederick Living, an upscale continuing care retirement community located in New Holland, Pennsylvania . This Food Service Manager will oversee the dining operations for approximately 140 healthcare residents (skilled/PC, Memory Care). Will oversee primarily front of house operations but will assist with kitchen operations as needed. The Food Service Manager will report to the General Manager and manage a staff of approximately 30 hourly employees. Strong customer service, hospitality skills are needed. Typical shift will vary between the 6:00am - 3:00pm and 10:00am - 7:00pm shifts with every other weekend coverage.What You'll DoWhat You’ll do:
have oversight of daily dining operations
be responsible for food quality, safety, sanitation and customer service
successfully coordinate all required tasks through supervisors and frontline staff
deliver high quality food services including catering and resident meal management operations
achieve company and client financial targets and goals
develop and maintain client and customer relationships
ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance
have daily interaction with residents, their families and clinical team to ensure resident satisfaction
create a positive environment
ensure Sodexo standards are met.
