Senior QA/QC Manager - Data Center Construction

Turner and Townsend are seeking a Senior QA/QC Manager. This position plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance and quality control of construction contractors, overseeing work put in place to ensure industrial processes, materials and products by performing the following duties.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Works under the direction of the client Project Director to provide Quality Control Systems Management and Oversight on a large-scale healthcare construction project.  Onsite at all times during construction with desk time required for compiling regular reports and reviewing them with the client.  Responsible for overall management of Construction Quality Control on behalf of the client.  Authority to act in all quality control matters for the client.  Review and approve all construction contractor quality control reports.  Follow up on all quality non-conformances to ensure that issues are addressed and corrected in accordance with good engineering practice, applicable codes and project specifications.  Collaborate with the construction manager and client project engineer to obtain necessary approvals and sign offs on all corrective actions.  Overall responsibility and oversight for quality aspects of the project, including management of all quality control processes and reporting.  Responsible for inspection and acceptance of equipment delivered to the site.  SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
