Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph before consideration Description:

Monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, and/or evaluates hardware, software and other network related problems

Provide technical expertise for performance and/or configuration of the enclave networks and systems.

Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers. Familiarity with Cisco IOS, F5 BIG-IP, Palo Alto hardware and software a plus.

Schedules, coordinates and executes firmware upgrades and hardware migrations.

Coordinates with all responsible users and external orgs to resolve network or system incidents.

Familiarity with the AWS cloud environment, in particular EC2 and VPC

Familiarity with configuring DNS BIND

Familiarity with running common commands in Linux OS.

Familiarity with scripting and automation, particularly Ansible, is a plus.

Required skills:

Assist customers with resolving problems to include performance and configuration

Provide support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders

Provide in-depth engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives for government agencies

Provide interface support to telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management

Provides telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.

Desired skills:

Experience with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling

Experience with AWS-cli and boto3

Experience with Puppet and Ansible

May be required to respond to after-hours requests as required in a 24 x 7 environment.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree with seven (6) years experience; an Associate’s Degree with ten (7) years of experience may be substituted for the Master’s Degree. No degree with 13 years of experience implementing information technology solutions is acceptable. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, traffic management and cloud computing experience are desired.

DoD 8570 Compliance with IAT level 1 is required (SEC+ce or A+ or Network+)
