Belay Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our intel team. You will be a member of the Mission Intelligence (MI) team, supporting a variety of data engineering, analysis, and automation efforts. The MI team maintains a business intelligence platform supporting data-driven decisions in the enterprise. You will contribute to the MI team as a general-purpose software engineer and analytic developer where you will design, develop, and integrate solutions involving the analysis of large data sets to establish mission cognizance and deliver mission-centric insights. Customer is looking for full time employee (FTE) with development knowledge or experience in programming language (Java, Python, etc.) and ability to pick up new skills as needed. Responsibilities:
Find mission intelligence data and integrate it into an existing platform.
Develop analytics to combine, normalize, and enrich large data sets.
Design and implement data workflows to convert and normalize data.
Augment the platform with new tools or technologies.
Create visualizations and dashboards using Kibana or othermetric tools.
Elicit requirements from stakeholders
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
Knowledge of software development in Java or Python.
Experience with one or more data engineering platforms (e.g., Apache NiFi, AirFlow).
Familiarity with Git for software version control.
Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar wiki/requirements type tools.
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Elastic products for data storage, search, presentation (Elasticsearch, Kibana).
Knowledge of Front End UX development.
Knowledge of map-reduce analytic environments (e.g., Hadoop, GM, GMLearn).
Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
Experience with production CNO (Computer Network Operations) capabilities and operations.
