Navy R&D Program AnalystJob Category: EngineeringTime Type: Part timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: Part-Time On-CallPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Continental USThe Opportunity:CACI is looking for a technical consultant for program management tasks to support Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock’s Technology and Innovation Office. Responsibilities would include technical evaluation of project portfolios, documentation and reporting of project data, management of outreach programs, and more.Responsibilities:

Provide technical and program management support to the Technology and Innovation office.

Evaluate innovative technologies proposals and projects for future ships, submarines, and unmanned systems.

Manage documentation, evaluations, and reporting within Navy systems.

Schedule project meetings and reviews.

Coordinate faculty and student intern outreach programs, including recommending applicants for R&D projects and assisting with technical documentation of results.

Draft and edit research reports and presentations for public release.

Qualifications:Required:

Bachelors Degree in an engineering or science discipline.

20+ years of working experience with Science & Technology programs.

Familiarity with portfolio management or evaluation.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to balance priorities and manage expectations.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.

Desired:

PhD in an engineering discipline.
