Amentum is looking for a Conference Program Coordinator (CPC) as a full-time position to support research programs at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, that collaborate across the IC to address future research needs by bringing together experts and USG through conferences, workshops, meetings, analytic exchanges, and other communicating means.The successful candidate will be joining the current CPC to support the client onsite in the administration, planning, facilitation, and implementation of virtual, in-person, and hybrid conferences and meetings. The position is based out of Bethesda, MD, however candidate is expected to be able to travel to events at commercial venues – typically 1-2 times a month – in the DMV region (50 miles radius). Travel expenses to venues will be covered.Job functions include:
Support client/Coordinate efforts with CPC on event planning, including processing approval of event requests, planning logistics, conference setup, execution, and conclusion of projects.
Conduct virtual conferences on platforms such as Webex and MS Teams and record conference proceedings for dissemination, as directed by the USG.
Work with Finance and Procurement for tasks such as ordering supplies, paying vendors, and following up on contracts for events.
Schedule conference facilities and technical capabilities to meet requirements for each conference, including A/V and technology needs.
Support the planning, development, and dissemination of conference publications and related announcements.
Coordinate the setup of registration websites with IT to collect and keep track of attendee participation and communicate information with participants.
Provide post-event reports including participant attendance and final costs for venues, etc.
Conduct research for venues and maintain database for future reference.
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with CI poly security clearance
Ability to be onsite 100% of the time in Bethesda, MD or at commercial venues across DMV region
Administrative and event management/planning experience
Associate or bachelor's degree, or combination of education, professional training, or work experience
Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, in particular Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Desired Skills:
Experience with event planning
Experience with virtual conferences on platforms such as Webex and MS Teams
