We are looking for a part-time Dispatcher to work virtually. You will serve as a communication point for our truck drivers. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and must be able to multi-task as well as take appropriate action with little supervision.
The Dispatch Shift Manager is responsible for maintaining organized schedules for drivers, overseeing route efficiency, and ensuring timely and accurate communication within the team and with clients. This role involves critical management of logistics operations, including tracking, reporting, and resolving issues related to driver schedules and client interactions.
Day to day responsibilities include; Driver scheduling and ensuring route efficiency for 3 trucks. Fast effective communication with clients and drivers.
Good communication and IT skills are a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
10-15 hours per week
Experience as a Truck Dispatcher in a similar industry
Must have a laptop computer and Iphone
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Transportation Management Software is a plus
Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
