Sagelight Integrative Wellness Center (SIWC) is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Front Desk Assistant to support patient engagement, administrative tasks, and center operations. This position offers flexible hours and plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Patient Engagement
Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive patient experiences
Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries
Handle phone calls and voicemails efficiently
Collect and verify identification and insurance details
Submit insurance information for verification and manage pre-appointment payments
Administrative Functions
Utilize software such as Merchant Payment systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Maintain organized and accurate patient records
Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations
Notify billing staff of no-shows and pending invoices
Coordinate practitioner schedules
Center Management
Open and close the center according to scheduled hours
Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing surfaces, managing trash, and preparing patient rooms
Qualifications
Knowledge of integrative wellness treatments and center services
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proactive problem solver
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Service Hours:
Tuesdays: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
Thursdays: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Fridays: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Saturdays: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
