Family-owned, Baltimore-based company is looking for an experienced CNC machinist who can work independently and produce quality parts in a timely manner. Top pay available and room for growth
Full time position working Monday thru Friday 6am – 2:30pm with occasional overtime available.
This is NOT an entry-level position. The successful candidate will have the following experience:
Ability to set up and run CNC equipment and be able to write his/her own CNC programs using G-Codes or Gibbs.
At least 5 years’ proven experience in programming and set-up of CNC Mills [this will be verified by previous employer(s)].
Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
Capable of reading and understanding blueprints.
Must have prior experience with castings.
Ability to perform a variety of drilling, boring, milling, threading and other related operations on CNC Mills.
Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
Strong mechanical and mathematical skills.
Must be self-motivated and have good work habits.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
