Overview:
We are in search of a skilled, professional Acupuncturist to join the Sagelight Integrative Wellness team. New graduates and experienced providers are equally encouraged to apply. You'll receive clinical support from Dr. Renee McSwain and administrative assistance from our Office Manager and billing team. Training will be provided as necessary.
Duties:
Perform acupuncture treatments
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments
Educate patients on acupuncture benefits and complementary therapies
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
Valid Maryland Acupuncturist license
Medical Liability Insurance Coverage
Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and traditional Chinese medicine principles
Strong patient assessment skills and ability to devise tailored treatment plans
Experience preferred, but new graduates/licensees are welcome
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
In-network insurance provider status with Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare/Optum, CareFirst is a plus
