Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team located in Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the general ledger for our business entities, reconciling bank statements, and creating accurate financial reports. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong grasp of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with various accounting software systems.Responsibilities: Participate in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, performing daily activities as necessary. Review, approve, and assist in the coding of vendor bills and monthly billings. Assist with time-intensive tasks such as credit card account expensing entries and annual tenant expense recovery reconciliations. Determine when expenditures are to be capitalized vs. expensed. Participate in periodic accounts receivable review meetings and assist in collections. Assist in the development of pro forma forecasts and annual budgets. Determine accounting entries for property sales and acquisitions. Review cash receipts entries for revenue codings and ensure timely deposit to appropriate bank accounts. Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently. Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook Familiarity with general Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Experience in Billing Functions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
