Description Our reputable client is seeking a Finance Manager to join the company for an interim opportunity.The Finance Manager will be tasked with the responsibility of articulating the financial results at the end of each reporting period and for each planning cycle. Join our team on a contract basis, where you will be working closely with management in various business groups to provide the required financial information, analysis, and advice in order to make financially sound decisions.How you will make an impact

Develop operating and financial metrics, analyze results and trends to create impactful insights, report results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improve forecasting and modelling accuracy

Lead, prepare, and coordinate the annual/quarterly/monthly budget and reforecast processes

Develop methods to automate and institute reports using BI tools and financial systems

Manage the preparation of materials related to detailed business unit projections and highlight risks/opportunities

Collaborate with business unit leaders for the completeness and accuracy of the material inputs to the company financial model and overall business strategy

Collaborate with the accounting team to establish processes and improve close cycle times and reduce errors

Produce executive-level management reporting, summarizing findings and recommendations

Create strong partnerships with leaders across the organization Requirements - Strong written and verbal skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment

Previous experience using MS Excel, and financial modeling and data analysis capabilities

Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in a FP& A capacity

Strong understanding of budgetary software and accounting systems

2+ years of people development and leadership experience

Excellent knowledge of financial modeling and accounting implications

Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting

CPA designation or MBA preferred
