The Agency Buyer I will be responsible for the support, receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory of supplies and materials ordered into the Maryland Aviation Administration's Warehouse and Mail Room.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Performing duties to open and close the MAA Central Warehouse.

Managing administrative functions related to the receiving and issuance of MAA warehouse paperwork.

Utilizing MAA software to track and monitor inventory usage and levels.

Product receiving and issuance for OPAMM and Contractors.

Providing oversight of the Warehouse Safety and Risk management program.

Assisting in the procurement of items worth $5,000 and under.

Organizing the receipt of all MAA products, distribution, and tracking of paperwork

This position is located at BWI Marshall Airport in Anne Arundel County, MD

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.Experience: Five years of experience in receiving, storing, issuing, purchasing and requisitioning supplies, materials, and equipment, three years of which must have included experience at the supervisory or management level or must have involved the final responsibility for purchasing and requisitioning.Note: Education at an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of the required experience at a rate of thirty credit hours for one year of experience for up to one year of the required general experience.Employees in this classification will be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle.
