EXPERIENCED HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT/DIESEL MECHANIC Needed For Small Fleet Shop (US Route 202, New Gloucester, ME)
36 Year Old Rigging and Heavy Hauling Company located in New Gloucester, ME has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced Heavy Duty Equipment/Diesel Mechanic. Regular duties shall be to maintain small fleet of International/Cummins road tractors/trucks, various semi-trailers and various capacity forklift trucks. To include maintenance and repairs of engines, cabs, chassis, drivelines, brakes, tires, wheels, hydraulic systems, electrical-electronic systems and more in a full service maintenance shop. Maine State Inspection License is required but can be obtained after start date. A Class A CDL is desired but not required. This mechanic position requires applicant to provide own tools. This position requires 40-45 hours per week, Monday-Friday. An average normal work day begins at 6:00am through 2:30pm.
