We are hiring a commercial field sales engineer, CSE. Your job will be to maintain & grow our existing customer base while expanding our efforts to find new customers. Our customers are: architects, contractors, business owners, facilities mgrs, municipalities, schools, government agencies, hospitals, industry, emergency services, aviation facilities etc. The CSE builds relationships with his customer contacts and promotes his products & services as value added additions to his customers business. Every product you sell includes installation & follow-up service. You will be selling all types of doors, automatic operation, fire doors, specialty doors, industrial doors, high performance doors, store front systems, loading dock equipment, aviation doors - etc. CSE needs to have efficient time management skills to balance time requirements for new sales calls, sales proposals, sales proposal follow up, up selling/ cross selling; client specific job management from first sales call to invoice. Overhead Door also maintains multiple lead generation services. The CSE participates in Home Shows, Vendor training, after work seminars, Industry associated membership functions, & networking opportunities. Computer skills are necessary for Windows based system to include a working familiarity with Word and Excel. Compensation is Salary / Plus Commission.
