Keenan Auction Company, Inc. is looking for a Full Time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our fast paced Real Estate and Personal Property Auction business. Must be comfortable answering phones, prioritizing and have exceptional customer service skills.
Location: 2063 Congress Street, Portland, ME. Near Portland Jetport and off exit 46 of the Maine Turnpike.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answering and appropriately managing incoming calls and emails
Provide general administrative support to office staff
Assist with compiling real estate property information packages
Sorting and distributing incoming mail
Assist with day to day office needs including typing, filing, copying, scanning and emailing documents
Assist with Personal Property post sale auction calls and processing bidder payments
Utilize and maintain auction database
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills, organization skills and a desire to learn
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
High School diploma required, with secondary schooling preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to multitask efficiently
Attention to detail
Our office is open from 8am – 5pm, Monday-Friday.
Work Location: In person. May require travel to offsite auction locations as needed.
Job Type: Full-time with occasional overtime as needed.
Pay: $18/hour with Bonus Opportunity
