Do you enjoy connecting with people? Are you detail-oriented? Are you a public broadcasting fan? We’re looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team in Lewiston, Maine!

This role provides broad office support and helps to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere while receiving visitors, answering phone calls, and fielding questions and comments from our audience. The Administrative Assistant answers switchboard calls, receives visitors, replies to general email inquiries, and researches and responds to questions and comments. This role also assists with maintaining our Member database and problem-solving Maine Public member issues and concerns. The Administrative Assistant organizes and maintains our office, schedules and plans for meetings and events, coordinates food services, and helps with events, festivals, and other special projects. In addition, the Administrative Assistant must understand and appreciate the mission-driven values of public media.

Job Requirements: A minimum of two years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; high school diploma or equivalent; excellent verbal and written communications skills; proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Must have a high level of organization and be detail oriented. A valid driver’s license is required.
