Miranda Management Group is seeking a full time Chef de Cuisine
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all operations of the kitchen under the Executive Chef.
Job Summary:
Creating and maintaining systems and standards with continued oversight of said standards, onboarding staff, ordering wares, equipment maintenance and employee training and enrollment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring smooth workflows.
- Being present on the floor four to five days a week.
- Working the hot line and prep shifts.
- Implement and enforce kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
- Creating and maintaining prep lists, opening, closing, & cleaning lists.
- Maintaining pars, managing food inventory and storage.
- Working with management to control food and labor costs
o while maximizing guest satisfaction.
- Scheduling, on boarding and training new back-of-house staff.
- Ensure quality of food preparation and presentation.
- Inpsect dishes before they are sent to the dining room.
Skills and abilities:
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with staff at all levels.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
- Attention to detail.
