Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Line Cook to prepare delicious meals for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook at Bald Mountain Camps Resort, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and advance your career in a supportive and inspiring setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the highest quality of food is served to guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and development with approval from management and ownership
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or resort setting
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is a plus
