We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Causeway. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our recipes and specifications. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared efficiently and accurately, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Our ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating excellent knife skills and attention to plating detail. You’ll be fully invested in contributing to our team dynamic, maintaining a professional demeanor, and embracing opportunities for skill development within our close-knit setting.
Responsibilities include:
– Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
– Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
– Monitor food stock levels and notify the supervisor of any shortages
– Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
– Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
