Job Responsibilities
Manage, interview, hire, fire, discipline, and hold team to high standards
Orient new employees and oversee training to ensure quality and make sure standards are withheld
Manage budgeted labor costs, control overtime
Open, work mid shift, or close the restaurant- depending on restaurant needs
Ensure monthly inventories are completed appropriately
Ensure maintenance requests are handled, and service pieces and serviceware are in good working order and good shape
Ensure the restaurant is clean and opening+closing checklists are completely daily
Qualifications/Experience
3-5 years sushi experience
1+ years management experience
Ability to multitask
Attention to detail
Great communication skills
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended period (up to 10 hours)
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
