We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expo / Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the restaurant industry. These positions play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving.
Assist with setting up and clearing tables, including bussing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate order timing and special requests.
Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
Support catering events as needed, ensuring that food presentation meets our standards.
Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help others in the kitchen or dining area.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
