We are looking for a new candy maker to add to our team! Leah’s Pralines is a small, family-owned business and we make everything by hand. This job consists of making pralines, brittles, frosted pecans, fudge, as well as weighing and packaging candy to sell. The candy maker is also responsible for cleaning the kitchen at the end of each shift.
Kitchen or candy production experience is preferred. The applicant should have knowledge of and adherence to all kitchen safety procedures, the ability to stand for entire shifts, willingness to work weekends, and excellent communication skills. Candy making requires attention to detail and basic math skills. If you invest in us, we will invest in you. Please, no job hoppers. The position starts at $17/hr.
We are looking for two part time positions:
Position 1: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am to 6pm
Position 2: Sunday and Monday 10am to 6pm
