Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services is seeking first line managers to lead the F/A-18 Maintenance Operations at Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans . This role will focus on overseeing the day to day operations of Organizational maintenance teams in support of flight operations for the Kuwait F/A-18 Super Hornet Program while successfully managing, developing, and motivating a large team of maintenance professionals.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:

Manage aircraft maintenance personnel of various disciplines and skill sets supporting the F/A-18 aircraft in an organizational maintenance squadron structure.

Ability to integrate and prioritize the requirements of multiple, external and internal stakeholders to ensure successful performance across the contractual statement of work.

Must be able to develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guide the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives concurrently with holding direct reports, peers and partners accountable for achieving goals.

Acquire the necessary resources for department activities, provide technical management and lead process improvements

Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes concurrent establishing and sustaining a strong safety and quality culture and adherence to customer delivery schedules.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in military fighter aircraft maintenance

3+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects

Technical project/program management experience

3+ years of leading a cross-functional team

Able to travel domestically and/or internationally on short notice

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelors Degree or higher

Experience with day to day operations of organizational maintenance

1+ years of experience with F/A-18 aircraft

Experience with U.S. Navy maintenance practices and experience partnering with government customers to deliver services and products.
