Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist. The role will be based in our manufacturing facility where you will play a pivotal part in handling our accounting operations. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be tasked with full cycle accounts payable tasks, high-volume invoicing, and payroll processing.Responsibilities: Manage full cycle accounts payable operations Handle high-volume invoicing activities Process payroll for a large team Maintain and update accurate accounting records Respond to and resolve accounting-related inquiries Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Ensure all accounting tasks are completed accurately and efficientlyRequirements Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems. Solid understanding of payroll procedures. Well-versed in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and formulas. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent numerical skills and the ability to spot numerical errors. Strong organizational skills to manage large amounts of financial data. Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with accounting software and systems. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
