Parish Ready Mix in Walker, LA is seeking a skilled and dedicated diesel mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. Mack/Peterbilt experience is required, concrete mixer truck experience is preferred.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to repair or replace components such as fuel systems, exhaust systems, and electrical systems.
Conduct tire service including installation, rotation, balancing, and repair.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for equipment handling and repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
