As a Technician at Capitol Freightliner, you’ll do preventative maintenance and repairs on the leading truck brand on the road. You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and safely operating. Duties:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues

Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance checks

Repair or replace faulty parts and components

Use diagnostic tools and equipment, including Freightliner’s technical literature

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Keep accurate records of work performed

Experience:

Previous experience as a diesel technician or mechanic preferred

Strong knowledge of diesel engines and systems

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail

Note: This job may require heavy lifting, soldering, welding, and housekeeping.

9 hour shift (Monday through Friday)
