Description Look no further, Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to immediately hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. Assist employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
Be familiar with and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
Grow the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Retain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
Lead human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Create recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
Represent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managers
Oversee all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
Establish management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
Lead and define exit interviews and procedures
Evaluate reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
Explore compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field
5+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
Proactive in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Unimpeachable ethics, integrity, and standards
Hands on HRIS expereince with strong organizational and follow-up skills
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred
Ability to view issues objectively
Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office
8+ years of progressive human resources experience in mid-sized companies with multiple locations and 200+ employees
Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
