Description Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to hire a Bilingual Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department with a heavy focus on employee relations with a employee base comprised of many native Spanish speakers. If you are Bilingual Spanish/English and thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities, this may be the role for you.Key responsibilities

Oversee all HR activities, Bilingual communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

Actively participate in employee engagement and relations with an employee base heavily comprised of native Spanish speakers

Institute management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

Catalog historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records

Outline recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

Be familiar with and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings

Teach bilingual employees such that they follow all policies and procedures

Lead and define exit interviews and procedures

Take part in interdepartmental meetings with other managers

Requirements

Ability to verbally fluently communicate in Spanish and English and ability to view issues without prejudice

3+ years of Bilingual HR Generalist experience within human resources with a focus on employee engagement/realations

Thorough when handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred

A familiarity with the main ideas of employment law and EEOC regulations

Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field

Deep knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

Excellent oral and written communications skills

5+ years in human resources

Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

Knowledge of HR software and working knowledge of MS Office

Excellent ethics, integrity, and standards
