Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for inside sales, providing customer service, and managing specific accounts. You will work in a team-oriented environment, handling a variety of duties related to customer service and sales. Responsibilities: Back up to Receptionist for answering phones, as well as answering overflow calls. Manage online orders - uploading inventory to website, downloading orders, and confirming shipping information. Serve as the main point of contact for specific accounts as determined by management. Monitor and manage customer email requests, including answering questions and entering data from orders. Verify pricing for stock orders and check stock availability. Enter customer purchase orders. Upsell customers by managing and sugging alternative products when an item is not available. Handle customer questions and concerns with courtesy and respect. Work with Inside customer service on assigned customer forecasts and customer usages.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Exceptional skills in answering inbound calls, providing information, and handling customer queries Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure Previous experience in a customer service and or sales/inside sales role Ability to multitask and manage time effectivelyRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
