Description As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This involves maintaining updated records of expenditure, verifying transactions, and ensuring that all bills are paid in accordance with our financial policies and procedures.Responsibilities:

Process invoices and ensure all business expenses are paid in a timely and accurate manner

Maintain updated and organized records of invoices, receipts, and monthly statement

Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for

Verify and investigate discrepancies by confirming vendor accounts and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies

Assist in streamlining and improving accounts payable process

Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Support other members of the accounting team as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software

Strong numerical, organization, and data entry skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate and confidential records

Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
