Accounting Clerk

Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Southern Indiana. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be instrumental in handling important financial tasks, such as account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry. This role is essential in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring all accounting functions are executed properly.Responsibilities: Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Conduct account reconciliation tasks for customer and corporate accounts Handle billing operations, ensuring all invoices are issued and processed correctly Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions and customer information Utilize Microsoft Excel for maintaining and analyzing financial data Assist in backup payroll operations when necessary Monitor customer accounts and conduct follow-ups when needed Ensure all financial records and customer information are maintained accurately Resolve customer inquiries related to financial transactions and billing.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing processes Capability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Previous experience in an accounting role is desirable.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
