Your determination to deliver quality and accuracy will improve health outcomes that people and communities depend on – now and in the future.Discover Impactful Work:With direction, provides direct technical support to computer system users; Answers complex and difficult questions to resolve computer problems for clients; Provides assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, VPN connectivity, electronic mail and operating systems. Provides desk side support for end users.A day in the Life:

Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.

Installs and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.

Conducts computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.

Determines computer software or hardware needed to set up or alter system.

Education

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.

Technical positions may require a certificate.

Experience

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years).

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, PC hardware and desktop application products.

The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on a desktop platform

Strong customer service communication skills

Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
