Work setting: Casual dining restaurant with Fine dining restaurant set up.

Full Job Description: We are looking for a Chef that is passionate about food and loves to work with others. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate well with other team members. We are looking for someone that is organized, has the ability to multi-task, and is willing to learn.

CHEF: Must be expert in IndoPak or Mediterranean Cooking all kinds of traditional authentic foods.

Must be experienced in all kitchen stations and must be able to manage daily bases our famous “BUFFET.” And must be specializing in variety of American and Mediterranean foods

“Food safety and hygiene is to priority”.

Ability to manage crew staff

Responsibilities: “must be hands on”

- responsibility- over staff to Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and customer preferences.

- Ensure food quality and presentation meets the highest standards

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to plan and execute menu items

- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed

- Maintain a CLEAN and organized kitchen area

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies

Prep food prep, cook, and plate meals, and plate presentation of menu items according to the restaurant's standards.

Monitor the flow of service and respond to customer needs or requests

Ensure that food quality, freshness, and temperature are maintained

Clean the station and take out trash.

Maintain clean kitchen area by keeping dishes, utensils, and equipment ready to use, as well as cleaning surfaces and windows when necessary.

Stock inventory as needed.

Ensure that food costs are kept within budgeted limits.

Keep records of inventory stock orders order. Report any discrepancies to management.

Comply with federal and local health regulations including sanitation, safety, nutrition standards, and food safety code enforcement policies. Maintain a safe work environment. Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years cooking experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred (restaurant or high-end restaurant) – Culinary school preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy & speed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, as well as perform repetitive motions on a regular basis. Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8+ hours). Must be able to work in a standing position for a short period of time (up to 5 hours).

Take instructions and ideas from management and propose new menu Items.

Prepare Marination’s and set up all products and stock stations.

Cook and prepare all types of products , starters, hot plate breads etc.

Ensure the food quality and the presentation.

Ensure the prompt and speedy delivery of orders.

Receiving goods after checking the quality and quantity.

Storage of raw materials and ingredients appropriately

Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure the standards

Ensure personal hygiene and safety requirements.

Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking utensils and equipment.

Monitor the performance of assistant cooks and the entire kitchen.

Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays.
