Senior Integrations Engineer, National Medical Care, Inc., a Fresenius Medical Care N.A. company, Lawrence, Massachusetts (Remote)Purpose and Scope:Responsible for delivering software that complies with architectural and technical standards and objectives. Performs development and programming of code modules, release coordination, and technical component documentation for specific integration efforts.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding and internalizing the project mission and associated Company objectives for the effort.
Developing tests and deploying high-quality software for integration processes that range in complexity from low to high, with little supervision.
Identifying technical alternatives and improvements and presenting them to technical leads and architects.
Imparting best practices and guidance as a “go to” expert for other software developers and engineers.
Design, Develop & implement integrations/interoperability across multiple systems across enterprise (internal & external facing). Provides overall guidance to ensure consistency of data integration/interoperability architecture by leveraging established/proven enterprise integration patterns.
Contributing to technical specifications and release plans as required by the technical team lead.
Working with the technical team lead and other team developers to achieve cohesive, compliant software deliveries.
Conducting thorough unit and string tests. Supporting system integration and quality assurance testing.
Maintaining software versions in version control tool.
Authoring and executing unit testing strategies and results related to all development efforts.
For specific assignments, duties will include:
Reviewing functional specifications and contributing to technical specifications.
Completing final technical design details for assigned components.
Writing, debugging, and unit testing complicated Informatica or other code independently.
Participating in technical code reviews.
Creating test data and running code to support testing.
Directing the activities of and lending technical assistance to more junior developers.
Providing task-related status reporting and documentation.
Participating in software deployment, conversion, and verification.
Education Experience and Required Skills:Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Developer. Must also have 5 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary requirement above) working with the following:
Java,C, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, TypeScript, CSS;
Spring, Spring Security, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Angular, NodeJS, JQuery, ExtJS, JSON and Bootstrap, XHTML, HTML5, XML, XSL, XPath and XQuery;
React Native, Android SDK, REST API, SOAP;
Oracle SQL Developer and Toad;
Eclipse, MS Visual Studio, WebStorm, Sublime Text, ATOM and Visual Studio Code;
Git, SVN, Maven, Ant, Jenkins and Bamboo, Apache Tomcat, JBoss IBM WebShere, Oracle Application Server and WebLogic;
Writing and executing UNIX shell scripts and managing job scheduling; and
Full software development lifecycle and development methodologies spanning development, testing, release and deployment management including Agile.
