Collections Specialist

Description We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Credit Clerk for our operations in Waterloo, Iowa. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit-related inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating necessary actions for delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain precise records of customer credit information Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to identify outstanding payments Initiate actions to collect delinquent payments in adherence to company policies Conduct daily tasks including processing electronic payments, wire requests, and daily deposits Post payments and reconcile payment records Analyze and manage credit risk effectively Handle both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a professional phone etiquette at all times Utilize email communications to correspond with customers regarding their credit status Use enterprise resource planning tools like SAP for efficient collections management Support both internal and external audits of revenue.
