Description Job Title: Collections Specialist (Contract, about 6-9 months and could go permanent for the right candidate. Salary: $20-22/hrRobert Half Contract finance and accounting team is seeking an experienced or aspiring Collections Specialist for a contract role that spans between 6 to 9 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling collections activities, invoicing, customer service, and light accounting duties. This is a unique opportunity that might lead to a permanent position.This position would start as soon as possible. Responsibilities:
Track and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
Conduct billing and collection calls, review account receivables, and initiate follow-up procedures to customers timely and effectively.
Provide customer service regarding collection issues to ensure accurate, efficient, and prompt resolution.
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and submit standard credit limit reports.
Update account status regularly, report on collection activity and accounts receivable status, enhancing the department's effectiveness.
Carry out light accounting tasks as may be required.
Notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail, telephone or personal visits to solicit payment.
Comply with standards and policies towards improving the overall collections process of the company.

Requirements:
Proven experience in collections, customer service, and light accounting is advantageous. However, if you have significant experience in any of these roles, we encourage you to apply.
Familiarity with SAP software is beneficial but not mandatory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Good knowledge of billing procedures, and collection techniques.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
