Job Summary

The Director of Consumer Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive new sales growth and retain Medicare Supplement, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) and Individual & Family Plan Marketplace policyholders. Leading a team of sales professionals, they will analyze market trends, collaborate with marketing and product teams, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry. The Director will monitor sales performance metrics, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and drive innovation in sales processes.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of seven years’ experience in the insurance industry with a proven sales track record preferred.

Certification, Licensure and/or Registrations

This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health Automobile Liability Insurance carrier.

Must possess a current life and health insurance license in home state, and non-resident license in other states within the Avera service area within 30 days of employment offer.

Hours

Monday - Friday (Days) with some weekend and evening involvement
