Duties include taking responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects
Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts
Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
Complete other related duties and assist with special projects as needed
Prepare statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
Post financial information to journals and ledgers
Accurately code documents with expenditure codes and accounting codes
File vendor invoices and disbursements and match & file A/P invoices to support accounts payable Requirements
Outstanding data entry skills
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
QuickBooks experience
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
